Nikki Boon

Nikki Boon of the Netherlands is the reigning World's Greatest Athlete. In 2026 she's eyeing not just a repeat, but breaking the 8,000 point barrier.

2024: We made history.
2025: We elevated the competition.
2026: It's only getting bigger and better.

We're not waiting for permission.

For over a century, the decathlon — the 10-event all-around of track and field — has been recognized as the ultimate test of athletic excellence which crowns the World's Greatest Athlete. At the Olympic level, only men compete for the event.

World's Greatest Athlete, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit building the case that women belong in that conversation. Our annual championship doesn't wait for governing bodies to catch up. It creates the field, crowns a champion, and grows the movement.

Women belong in the Olympic decathlon. We're making sure it happens.

10 Events. Unlimited Potential.
